If your year-end holiday travel plans include Ryanair, you may be in for some bad news. The budget airline changed its system for organizing employee vacations, leading to a backlog of workers due time off. This caused a pilot shortage, which led the airline to cancel over 2,000 flights, primarily affecting routes through Brussels, Barcelona, Milan, and Rome. It’s expected to affect some 400,000 passengers.
